Calibration Services

MEDICAL IMAGING CONCEPTS, INC. also offers licensed calibration services for most ionizing radiation survey instruments. All calibration sources are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Ionizing radiation survey instruments are calibrated to CS-137 standards (efficiencies for other nuclides are available) using manufacturer-recommended methods for each instrument, in accordance with ANSI N323-1978 YS NRC Regulatory Guide 10.8 Rev. 2, Appendix B.

Calibration certificates drawn up by MEDICAL IMAGING CONCEPTS, INC. provide a record for regulatory compliance usage.
